Ficlet Advent: Day Three
Arafinwë and Makalaurë would join their voices together in song and conjure up dazzling lights from snowfall. The sight of waves of blue and green dancing in the sky never failed to make the children of Tirion laugh and the adults stare in wonder as the lights seemed to mimic and mingle with the light of the Trees.
As snow continued to fall, Arafinwë would force the flakes to obey him, to form figures of dancing elves twirling through the streets until they bumped into someone and shattered. Leaving laughter and joy in their wake.
Makalaurë would warm peoples soul with his voice, would create orbs of light that danced from person to person until finally someone blew it out or it burst into dozens of smaller flecks of light.
Fëanáro made no mention of his son working with his half-brother. Perhaps because he too, enjoyed seeing the wonders they made.
